When I signed up to do the 8 week challenge, my only real goal was to keep myself motivated to attend the gym during the winter months of the year, when motivation is at an all time low and comfort food is all I want. Before I started, I thought I knew a thing or two about training and food and had been counting calories and attending gym classes.
I never expected that the challenge would teach me so much about training and nutrition or lead to the results I have obtained. Now, with hindsight, I realise that when I started, I knew hardly anything at all!
The challenge has been a great experience. I stuck to a ketogenic diet and weight trained 4-5 days weekly with about half an hour of cardio most days too. I have never had so much energy before, even despite the early morning wake ups to be at the gym by 6.00am!
I have felt completely supported by the team along the way, especially my trainer Derek. Derek has given me heaps of guidance about nutrition, including tracking macros, and has pushed me during training sessions. He regularly checked in on me with how I was going on days he wasn’t training me. Munya has also been so generous with their time and encouragement along the way!
I am proud of how far I’ve come and motivated to keep going, the results are addictive! I couldn’t recommend the challenge more highly. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve stalled in your training, the team will help you get on track with measurable goals and support along the way.
